Gavin Salian

Industrial Engineering, Spring 2025 PC

Hi there! My name is Gavin Salian, and I’m a second-year Industrial Engineering major who pledged AKPsi in Spring 2025. I first heard about AKPsi through friends who were rushing. They said it was a great opportunity for growth, and honestly, the free food during rush didn’t hurt either. What started as a curiosity quickly became something much more meaningful. One of my favorite memories is all the late-night library hangouts I had with my pledge class. We’d show up to study but end up spending hours just talking about life, goals, and whatever was on our minds. Those nights helped me form real friendships and a support system I didn’t expect. Since joining, I’ve grown professionally through workshops and networking, while also becoming more confident and driven, thanks to the people around me. To me, being a brother in AKPsi means being part of a community that challenges and supports you. If you’re considering joining, I highly recommend it because it’s where I found my community.

Pari Vardhineedi

Neuroscience, Fall 2024 PC

Hey! My name is Pari Vardhineedi, and I’m a third-year Neuroscience major on the pre-med track! I first heard about AKPsi through friends who’d already rushed & loved it. So, I decided to rush to step out of my pre-med bubble & immerse myself with people of different majors or passions. That choice led me to pledge Fall ‘24, which influenced one of the things I’m most grateful for - my pledge class. From the late nights working together to spontaneous moves to the countless heart-to-hearts, we built a bond that felt so effortless. On a personal level, AKPsi has shown me a community of supportive, inspiring, and ambitious people from all parts of the Brotherhood. Professionally, I’ve gained confidence in my decision to pursue pre-med and in the experiences I bring to the table. I’ve learned how to pitch myself and my goals - whether in interviews, networking events, or casual conversations. All in all, AKPsi’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in college, and I highly recommend coming out to rush!

Anagha Sudhindra

Chemical Engineering, Spring 2024 PC

Hi! My name is Anagha Sudhindra, I am a 3rd year Chemical Engineering Major on the biotech concentration. Hoping to come out of my shell as a first year out-of-state student, I rushed, and eventually pledged, AKPsi in Spring 2024. Since then, I’ve been able to form so many meaningful personal and professional relationships through AKPsi, from my wonderful pledge-class, to mentors in upperclassmen and alums, to bonding activities in chapter, to fun family hangs. The skills I’ve gained through AKPsi have helped me navigate countless interviews and coffee chats. My involvement in directorships, such as the social media directorship (!!!), has given me an outlet for my creativity in a professional capacity. If you are looking to step out of your comfort zone, polish your soft skills, and make tons of friends, come rush AKPsi!

Ashwin Mudaliar

Computer Science & Mathematics, Fall 2023 PC

Hi! I’m Ashwin Mudaliar, a third-year double major in Computer Science and Mathematics who pledged AKPsi in Fall 2023. I initially came to rush just to meet people outside my classes, but I quickly realized AKPsi was something much deeper. One of the most impactful experiences was being the Software Development head at AKPsi, where I developed the technologies that power the Rush process and internal fraternity operations. AKPsi helped me grow not just as an engineer, but as a communicator and a teammate. Whether I’m debugging code at midnight or prepping for interviews, I know there’s a community behind me that pushes me to be better. Being a brother means having people who believe in you even before you do - and if you’re even slightly curious, I’d say come out and see what AKPsi can offer you.

Oieshee Akter

Business Administration, Spring 2023 PC

Hiii my name is Oieshee and I’m a fourth year Business Administration Major. I first heard about AKPsi through another friend who was in a different chapter in Canada! I was super interested in the community and professional development she was able to gain through the org and I really wanted a similar experience. Since joining, I’ve made so many amazing memories and met some of my best friends here at Tech. For me, I always felt super lost during my freshman year because I value closeness in my relationships and felt like I couldn’t find it by myself on campus. Through AKPsi I was able to meet people who were so different than me in thought and experience but also had that same interest in developing a close bond with me and others. I’ve met some of my best friends through AKPsi and I’m so lucky to say that my experience in this org has led me to make life long connections.
